I can hardly believe this myself, but after being abandoned by my MLM sponsor for refusing to "pitch" my friends and family, I'm able to create a real income from home.

But before we get into that, let me tell you a little bit about myself... 

Who Am I?

I'm a 30 year old Internet Marketer and a former Magna Cum Laude graduate in computer science.  So you may say I'm a bit of a tech geek.  I currently live in Denham Springs, Louisiana which is real close to Baton Rouge.

How much of a tech geek you might ask?  Well, not so much any more since I'm more of a business man now.  But let me show you something:

I first got into network marketing to start creating extra money - who doesn't want more money?.  Although I was doing very well and making a good living as a software engineer, I needed to begin a journey that would allow me to escape the "rat race."  I needed to find something that would allow me to break my desk chain!  

I've always been a big dreamer since a child and the "rat race" certainily is not part of those dreams...So network marketing, with its promises of an ongoing residual income, seemed like an attractive prospect to get on and escape the rat race. 

And as a successful software engineer who "knew it all," I figured it would be a piece of cake - heck if I can write computer software then I figured anything is simple...

Well, I got shocked, slapped and awakened all in one!   This industry is definitely more challenging than I gave it credit for, so I really had to learn how to win in it.  If you've been in network marketing yourself, you'll know it's A LOT harder than what most people tell you and I was about to become yet another statistic, one of the 97% of home business owners who spend more than they make. 

But I'm stubborn ...

So I learned A LOT and now I've shared marketing tips and strategis with thousands of people from the USA down to the Philippines.  I've helped people in many different backgrounds  including successful Network and Internet Marketers, business owners, school principals, professional salesmen, single moms, and many other types of people from various backgrounds.

I'm still learning a lot myself (and I always will be), but at this point, I can say with confidence that I've figured how to succeed online and can definitely help others do the same - without "pitching" friends and family - as long as they have some patience, persistence and above all else, a burning desire to win big.  A burning desire is the starting point to all riches and if don't have it, well, you probably will end up in the network marketing cementry - sorry, but that's the way it is!

The journey is more important than the destination, so let me give you my story...

The Journey Begins...

Februrary 2007, after being in the industry for almost two months, I was contemplating quitting...  

So here was my situation ... I was investing money and time every month but seeing very little return and the person I was becoming (this is major) wasn't obvious to me at that time so ...

Frustration began to set in and lots of it!  But I told myself I was in an industry I really knew very little about and one they do not really teach in school and also one not particularly endorsed by the mainstream media (who excels at keeping people in fear) so I was at a crossroads...

Making The Tough Choice

I was at a serious crossroad and wondering how my story would continue.  I, like many, wondered if I should quit and continue working as a software engineer the rest of my life with no backup plan and more importantly with my money NOT working for me (which is VERY SAD).  Or should I hang around and figure it out how to make a real income from the comfort of my home!   

IMAGINE making thousands part-time from home and taking a 5 second commute from the bedroom to your home office!  Yeah, that's the lifestyle that I keep in my mind and heart always.

Understand that we as humans do EVERYTHING from two perspectives:

1. Aquire Pleasure
2. Avoid Pain

I had to weigh the choice of failure, getting laughed at by friends and family (who are probably broke anyway) against living an abundant life with no barries and no money worries ... EVER. 

I went for Option 1 - Aquire Pleasure.  It was worth it for me to take the shots to be rich and have money working for me 24/7.  Wouldn't you agree.  If not, well, you should close this page...seriously!

As you may know, Network Marketing is a very strange business but by testimonial, I knew it was possible to make the big residual money.  It can be a dog-eat-dog industry full of lies with little support ...

Speaking of support, I asked my mentors in business for advice and was told serveral times to make a list of my friends and family and just “show them the plan.”  Heck, they even told me about a memory jogger to remember 1000+ people that I should "pitch."  Well, soliticing people did not sound like an approach a real professional marketer should employ, so I didn’t do it...

And I NEVER have.

Finally, I purchased newspaper ads and that resulted in SOME SUCCESS (hey at least money was made, which is something most people sadly never experience), but it was not the type of return on investment I was personally looking for.

My upline offered no support here and said “I” was the problem (this is VERY true - when you're an entrepreneur, you must hold yourself accountable) because making a list of friends and  family was completely “duplicatable,” even for a 5th grader.  To me, I just felt it was an EXTREMELY POOR excuse for not learning how to market like a professional...

In the end, all this did was cause separation between me and my upline. I refused to play by their “duplicatable,” old school dinosaur and ineffective rules.  However, I made the choice to stick it out until I figured it out and then later discovered the keys to the "inner game" of networking.

Tapping Into The Goldmine AKA As The Internet  

So, refusing to fail (told you I was stubborn - I ALWAYS figure it out), I moved my focus to Internet Marketing (another dog-eat-dog industry) and started looking for a way to market online (heck, I'm a tech geek so why not I said).  And this became a very interesting search as I discovered within ten minutes that there is A LOT of BS online! The Internet is FULL OF GARBAGE.  LOL!   

IMAGINE all the garbage out there and all the empty promises and BS claims.  It was like an epidemic and a huge "he said she said" slugfest ...

I couldn’t tell you how many times I saw ridiculous claims and “opportunities” with NO product or service being moved.  It just seemed like what I call “money tag.” You can call them BS and avoid them at all costs. 

The ads, however, were very impressive and stimulated my creativity.  They made it sound like you give them $100 and get $1000 back without doing a thing.  Now that's a game most people would always play even if they didn't have $100.  I guarantee you they would "get it."  

You can say the ads displayed what I call "Hypnotic Writing."  It just feels so addicting IF you take it at face value...

But there is A LOT of great opportunity and people on the Internet ... and I was absolutely going to discover where they were.

Discovering Magnetic Sponsoring In A Chat Room ... OH SNAP!

Interestingly enough, my network marketing career begin in a chat room.  Specifically, a chat room on America Online (AOL) titled Entrepreneur. 

In that same room, I met a guy one night that I was trying to "pitch" like amateurs do.  He told me about a book I should invest in called Magnetic Sponsoring written by self-made eight-figure earner Mike Dillard.  So I looked into it and the concept was simple: this book was going to teach me how to have prospects coming to me INSTEAD of me coming to them using a concept called "Attraction Marketing."  

I devoured the book (not literally!) and now the lights were starting to come on.  This was making REAL sense.  It was REAL MARKETING.  And it ABSOLUTELY WORKS!

I became a huge fan of Mike Dillard and could quite clearly see that everything he taught about marketing and attracting customers and distributors made sense and absolutely DID NOT require me to chase down friends and family.  This game becomes A LOT easier when you start marketing to people looking for an opportunity to make money from the comfort of their home.  

Seeking People Who Seek Solutions

After reading Magnetic Sponsoring, I knew putting it all into practice and becoming a master marketer would require a little work, but I knew I could do it.  And you can too if you give it some effort!  Instead of going solo, I started looking specifically who online entrepreneurs who were building their business using the concepts taught in Magnetic Sponsoring.   

I discovered them and I looked at their Web Sites and their blogs.

I paid attention to where they were hanging out online and where they were – and more importantly HOW – they were generating prospects, getting customers and enrolling business partners into their enterprises.

For months, like a machine I absorbed what successful Internet Marketers were doing online.

When they wrote a blog, I read it. When they put out an e-book, I read it.

When they recommended a tool or a resource, I invested in it without hesitation.  After all, they were where I wanted to get - why should I NOT listen to them?  To avoid pain of losing a few measely dollars ... NOT... remember, I'm following Option 1 - Acquire Pleasure!  

After about six weeks of following their lead and duplicating their tactics, I was starting to “get it.”

Those "AH HA" moments began to set in.

       

This was me at a marketing and success seminar.  Like I said, I was determined to find winners.  This was a very successful woman I met.  And don't worry, I'll make you smile and laugh too!

A Real Dream Come True

After studying what successful enterpeneurs were doing and applying it myself, I made money online for the first time while I slept.  100% auto-pilot.  KOWABUNGA!    This was huge!  It was an amazing dang feeling although it kind of scared stunned me the first time it happened ...

Why? Because we're programmed to believe we MUST "trade time" for "dollars."  And if never encounter a different way ... well ... you probably will never know and live your life imagining instead of experiencing how you can create your own underdog success story.

The Discovery

One day - I can't remember when exactly - it just hit me the way falling in love hits you.  It was crystal clear ... I understood “the inner game” of both Network and Internet Marketing.  It was just a numbers game...I had to take the emotion out.  I had to focus on production instead of politics and not get caught up in the drama.    

When I did that, GREAT things started to happen…

I had money coming in all the time.

I had people seeking me out asking for my advice (some serious, and many just "curious"). I have even had people call me and simply say: “I will invest in whatever you tell me to.  Just show me the way. I believe in you.”

I discovered “the inner game” was entirely different when the other person contacts you first.  I mean ENTIRELY DIFFERENT. Night and day diference!  I was perceived as a consultant and a serious problem solver (and that's what I do - I solve money problems) instead of a peddling salesman (yuck!).

I become the hunted instead of the hunter.

I discovered how to BUILD (don't worry, you won't have to) a SYSTEM (Save Yourself Serious Time, Energy & Money) that processed leads and marketed to them on 100% auto-pilot.  You being at this page is part of the system I'm currently using.  I didn't have to manually send you this - it's all automated and turn-key!  And a system is absolutely critical to succeed online.  Absolutely critical.  NO SYSTEM = NO SUCCESS. Period.   

The system I was using was sweeter than a hot fudge sundae with whipped cream and nuts on a 110 degree day! 

But there was one MAJOR problem. 

What I was doing was not exactly duplicatable for most people.  It required the ability to create Web Sites, set up E-Mail campaigns, really understand Internet Marketing, and leverage others so you don't have to do EVERYTHING.  This is very technical stuff and hard to do for most people!

What I will tell you is that it’s possible for anyone with desire to make money online with this system, with MUCH less work and effort than anything I've come across before.  The other thing I will tell you is simply this: I refuse to let you fail provided you carry your 50 bricks.  I'm on a personal mission to help 1000 people make their first dollar online and I feel I can help just about anyone that has desire.
