Are You Kicking Yourself In The Ass? I Have Been …

June 10th, 2009

The Day of Realization

Do you ever kick yourself in he ass?

Beat yourself up?

Don’t give yourself enough credit?

They say we’re our own toughest critics.

I believe it.

I’m hard on myself – very hard, actually… Like, I’m never satisfied hard…

It can be good, it can be bad.

But tonight, I’ll sleep well.

Why?

Because today I sent out a few E-Mail promoting Traffic Formula 2.0 and made over $800 so far today…

Some have made more. Some less. Some nothing (hang in there though).

But at the end of day, I made $800 for about 30 minutes of work in an industry pursued by millions looking to finally understand this game…

That’s not too shabby for a shy tech geek who has only been marketing online for about 15 months …

Even better – I have this “system” so refined that I can teach almost anyone to do this if they’ll just go through the obstacle course…

In fact, in many ways, it’s almost like getting into the NFL or something very difficult to achieve in life.

Today, I’ve realized I’m proud of myself – and it’s “odd” for someone with my personality type to say that.

I have to stop kicking myself in the ass so much …

And so I say to you if you’re having results, keep going, never quit and give yourself a pat on the back because you’re a masterpiece in progress.

If you’re competitive and very stubborn, well so am I, so use those elements to your advantage, but give yourself credit when hit a milestone.

Odd post – I know…

Just thought I’d share.

Sound Off

What about you? Do you kick yourself in the ass and beat yourself up?

Let me know …

Now I’m going to bed. See you tomorrow.

Forest Marie Goes To The Emergency Room

January 25th, 2009

So one of my business partners and I are doing some programming yesterday for a client on a mission critical application …

As we’re programming, I get a bubbly sensation around my chest and couldn’t breath for about a half second to a second. It just felt “weird,” but not painful at all. More of a tickle than anything else. So I shrugged it off and kept working.

Earlier that day, we went to Albasha’s and ate Greek food. I had some broiled fish and gyro meat. John had lamb shank. We were both gassed up after that. So I figured the chest vibration was due to the gas, but I just felt odd that I lost my breathe for a second or so …

So when I get home, I tell my wife and we started doing some research about heart attacks versus heartburn, acid indigestion, etc. The symptons are similiar of course. So we didn’t to take a trip to the ER and make sure.

So within one hour (they really serve you when you have insurance), I had an EKG done and a chest X-Ray and everything was fine. I walked out of there with a prescription of Nexium. But it’s better to be safe than to be sorry and thank God I’m safe. That was an interesting night!

Hands On With an Iridium Satellite Phone

January 11th, 2009

So as some of you guys know, I’m a software engineer and Web developer by profession. Recently, I received a client who has ocean freight services as one of their main services they provide their clients. You can check them out here: Advanced Logistics.

Interestingly enough, my business partners and I are doing a project for this company using an Iridium Satellite Phone. We are writing it in .NET and C# using a command called Rasdial.exe (included in Windows XP) and not to get too technical as this is not a programming blog (lol), I’ll just tell you this:

We wrote some programming code to establish a connection with the Iridium satellite phone and using that connection, FTP files from a ship (quite possibly in the middle of the Pacific Ocean) to a shore somewhere. It’s been a challenging, but fun project. Challenging because it’s hard to get a signal and the connection is VERY slow, but fun cause it’s just so damn fun to write code to fire up a satellite phone.

I guess it will get old, but we’ve never done it before, so we’re a little giddy about it!

We typical develop custom software and business to business or business to consumer Web Sites and a plethora of marketing services such as Google PPC management, article writing, social network setup, and SEO (search engine optimization), so this was very “green” to us, but very fun!

And I’m going to go work on it right now actually, so I’ll stop here.

Family, Health and Leadership Are Imminent In 2009 | Forest Marie

January 3rd, 2009

Well, 2009 has finally arrived and what a year 2008 was!

The close of 2008 marked my second year in this industry and my first six figure year (my second year). I’ve even seen myself on leader boards and radar lists. And now people are bidding on my name in Google pay-per-click. Wow. For that, I am very grateful and thank God.

So, in 2009, my junior year (I view this industry a lot like college), I have some really big plans and aspirations I’m shooting for.

The main focuses for me in 2009 are family, leadership and health.

In terms of family, I need to spend more time with my wife and do more things with her and get her in tune of what I’m accomplishing via personal growth development, mindset expansion, and Internet Marketing.

I’ve recently discovered how to win this game in a step-by-step fashion without the theory. My focus now is on conveying that message to my team and those I attract to me to do the same. Last week, I attracted a CEO and three business owners who are looking to make the Internet work for them.

I’m 100% confident now that they can do exactly what I do and leverage the money that I leverage and get the results. I’m also doing co-ops now with a very active and large networkers list for my Carbon Copy Pro and Wealth Masters team. I just secured exclusive rights to this endorsement and I’m very excited about that.

So that will definitely be my focus — helping others receive the same success I receive. I think that’s more special and probably more difficult than making it yourself.

Other than that, my other main focus will be health and losing 150 lbs in 2009. I need to take some of this baggage off and get a lot more energy. They say health is the first wealth, so it’s time to take that serious, especially since I just made 30!

Some other goals I have in 2009 are:

  • Help everyone who joins me in Carbon Copy Pro and Wealth Masters International (WMI) make a profit (once this happens, the belief never dies) – See my Carbon Copy Pro Review.
  • Help at least one person make $10,000 in a month in the same enterprise.
  • Update the “look and feel” of this blog with a new theme.
  • Get more social and share photo and videos with my team and blog readers.
  • Go on a nice cruise.
  • Build my lists to 50,000 subscribers.
  • Hit $20,000 a month consistently.
  • Write a lot more on this blog. Also, get this blog to PR4 by year’s end.
  • Buy some more real estate.
  • See the movie Wolverine (what can I say, I was a huge fan as a kid).

There’s probably some others, but again, it’s all about leadership and health.

So I wish you health, happiness and wealth in 2009 and may be it your best year yet!
