Forest,

Keep up the great blog, and review of needed information. I needed to be reminded about mindset. I am doing a great deal of reading and research on marketing right now.

I appreciated our conversation last night, and I appreciated the vidio you linked me to, concerning CarbonCopyPro.Com.

Back to mind set for a minute. This is something that we need to get a handle on, but it is at least partially out of our individual control. We have co workers, family members, spouses etc, and not all of them have consistant good mindsets either. Maybe what we need to do is help each of them improve their mindset, so that our circle of “five” become more valuable.

This would improve our mindset and help several others in the process. NOW, how to do that without a good size bag of money. I have not followed armored cars waiting for a “spill” but I am running out of ideas.

I have no experience here so I’m lost and confused. Especially on what is Carbon Copy. Is it just alot of people purchasing and selling the same marketing program(BIB)over and over again? On this particular page you talk about selling other products? “You also get to become an affiliate of his free with lots of products you can sell and lots of capture pages. Also included is great Internet Marketing training in the back office (again, no monthly fees, only $37).”
Are you at liberty to explain in more detail the basics?

Hey Forest, Great post and right on the money, so to speak, I agree with what you are writing but what about those that do not have the money to get started? I personally went from making 2500 a week to 240 a week when the housing business went bust. I owned my own company for 12 years and now I work in a restaurant for someone else.

My mind set is still the same and I will be wealthy when it is all said and done but circumstances beyond my control have put me back to a blank page and I have to start all over with nothing.

I agree - it takes money to make money.

Allow me to share my own story….

I put my first website on the internet back in 2006. I used a free

template to build my site. It was hosted for free. And every other

ebook/software or whatever was I posted was also free!

After nearly two and a half years, guess why I never made a a red cent

during this time?

Here’s why…

1) The mandatory link back to the owners of the free template I was

using helped build a list for the template’s owner.

2) The free hosting and website on it provided the platform on which

the owners could put all the ads they wanted at my expense.

3) The links embeded in the free ebooks/software provided all the viral

marketing the owners required for maximum exposure of the

websites…Right from my website.

Fact is, I made others rich in all the cases mentioned above. I was

left with NO LIST and NO MONEY. Now that I realize it, those people

must have been laughing all the way to their banks!

Even if I can console myself and say I did not put in a red cent, what

about all the man-hours I spent trying to make my first mark from that

website?

And now two and a half years later (after reading a blog like this one

- thank you, Forrest), I decided to apply for my own credit card so I

can start doing my own thing. It’s now one month since I spent $29.95

and I have already started earning my first ever internet income!

What I llke about the whole ‘it takes money to make money’ message is

that more money than my initial outlay will be coming in for months to

come until I call it quits!

Sorry for taking so much space explaining my side of the story. I

couldn’t stop the ink from flowing, so to speak!

Keep on delivering your great posts. You have now a permanent reader in

me!

Time, time and time.

I look at it like this…We have 24 hours in a day and I still have a job as a professional software architect/web developer … so I look at like this.

8 hours for week
8 hours for sleep
8 hours for “stuff”

I try to spend as much time in the “stuff” category building so I eliminate the work all together.

As for schedules, I don’t have them. I do have what I call “agendas” or “metrics.”

I try to get one blog post out a day. One E-Mail to my newsletter. A few calls a day. Getting ready to add a video or two a month and a weekly conference call/webinar in the mix by the end of the year.

And with Carbon Copy Pro and Wealth Masters - it’s a very clean setup so you don’t have to do EVERYTHING.

Hi Forest,

I am enjoying your work. I read your blog and also I watch what you do in Better Networker.

As I was reading this post I was thinking “man I wonder how much time he gets to actually build his business”. Don’t get me wrong I believe you are but you seem to be everywhere with your marketing and I was wondering how you get time to balance it all.

Can I ask you… do you work to schedules at all? Do you have set marketing tasks to complete each day or do you just flow with what comes along?

Hope I am not being too pushy with the questions. Just tell me to shove off if I am. But I can relate to your work. You can watch some people and how they market and some people you click with in what they do and others you don’t. I guess that is what attraction marketing is all about.

Awesome post Forest. Not only is it simple to do, it is also affordable. And EASY!!!!!

Ebay is also a great place to get books cheap or even better yet your local thrift stores, yard sales and flea markets.

What these cost too much? How about writing up your own report or ebook that cost $0 out-of-pocket if sending electronically then follow up with your card.

Amazon and Ebay will allow you to sell ebooks/reports and there are other places that are great for this as well.

I also recommend Send Out Cards, they are professional, customizable and will save you $$$ and make you $$$.

There are endless uses for them, be creative ; )

ViralURL is one of the easiest tool that I have ever used to generate leads for my series of mini boot camps. I was skeptical at first because I have used similar system with out success. Magnetic Sponsoring is one of the most powerful tools to generate leads out there. When Forest got me into using virals with Magnetic Sponsoring I made 200 dollars on my second week on autopilot!

Call it luck but I was hooked! Now im generating about 30 of my own leads a day just with those two programs alone.

Hi All,

There are 2 things in my MLM experience that I cannot do without on a daily basis…Magnetic Sponsoring and Viral URL. Why? Well thats simple. We all need leads, right?
Well, MS and Viral is like a car and the engine.

MS or Magnetic Sponsoring is the car that moves the traffic from start to finished product.

Viral URL is the engine that drives the traffic to MS daily and without one or the other you’re a not giving yourself a headstart and maximizing your business building potential.

I bought my system as I like to call it a good few months ago, I have made 1000’s with MS and a similar amount with Viral.. Buy them now and build your database!!!.. No database.. No sales. That’s the simple fact!

Absolutely. Thanks for your feedback.

As for as multiple accounts go, I just create multiple gmail accounts. And when I register an additional account, I use an additional E-Mail address. I keep all of my account information and the emails I use in a spreadsheet.

You may have to clear your cache the second time you visit ViralUrl as it will likely take you to the log-in page.

Hell of an article on Viral Url, all I can say is wow! One of my upline leaders uses it along with the other too, and he says viralurl is the best! Two confirmations can’t go wrong with that!!! Also, I want two accounts how does it work having multiple accounts!

Yes, you can use Viral Url with any affiliate program. In fact, you can use Viral Url to promote ANYTHING, not just affiliate programs.

Thanks for the sound advice, and clearly explained. But I can’t say the same for the viralurl website which seemed to be full of breathless testimonials but short on exactly what they do. They really need some sort of faq, unless I missed it.

Question: If I do join viralurl can I promote any affiliate program (ie my own) or only those they make available?

Also, I notice you offer help with Internet marketing.

I used to be very skeptical of “list builders” like ViralURL, but this one definitely delivers results.

The two others I use with slightly less, but still decent results are:

I am in a MLM with a good product but am not having much success. It feels like the term “SOCIAL CAPITOL” is haunting me. As if, not being the most popular kid in school prevents me from being a successful marketer. Now, I get that it IS a people business, but doesn’t that popularity prerequisite seem a little exclusionary? Are there ways to succeed in MLM without “working the warm list” and alienating all of your friends and relatives? thanks
