Are You Kicking Yourself In The Ass? I Have Been …

June 10th, 2009

The Day of Realization

Do you ever kick yourself in he ass?

Beat yourself up?

Don’t give yourself enough credit?

They say we’re our own toughest critics.

I believe it.

I’m hard on myself – very hard, actually… Like, I’m never satisfied hard…

It can be good, it can be bad.

But tonight, I’ll sleep well.

Why?

Because today I sent out a few E-Mail promoting Traffic Formula 2.0 and made over $800 so far today…

Some have made more. Some less. Some nothing (hang in there though).

But at the end of day, I made $800 for about 30 minutes of work in an industry pursued by millions looking to finally understand this game…

That’s not too shabby for a shy tech geek who has only been marketing online for about 15 months …

Even better – I have this “system” so refined that I can teach almost anyone to do this if they’ll just go through the obstacle course…

In fact, in many ways, it’s almost like getting into the NFL or something very difficult to achieve in life.

Today, I’ve realized I’m proud of myself – and it’s “odd” for someone with my personality type to say that.

I have to stop kicking myself in the ass so much …

And so I say to you if you’re having results, keep going, never quit and give yourself a pat on the back because you’re a masterpiece in progress.

If you’re competitive and very stubborn, well so am I, so use those elements to your advantage, but give yourself credit when hit a milestone.

Odd post – I know…

Just thought I’d share.

Sound Off

What about you? Do you kick yourself in the ass and beat yourself up?

Let me know …

Now I’m going to bed. See you tomorrow.

You’re Broke Because You Want To Be

January 12th, 2009

Here’s the bottom line. If you’re broke …

You’re Broke Because You Want To Be

Well, you are.

It’s true.

I say it.

And so does Larry Winget.

Who the heck is Larry Winget?

Well, he’s the host of A&E’s show Big Spender. He’s also known as the pitbull of personal development.

I’m currently reading his book right not titled … ding ding … You’re Broke Because You Want To Be and I highly recommend you check out ASAP.

WARNING: Larry is not soft and he’s going to give it to you straight. So if you need a good kick in the ass, this is your book. And it’s an easy read too because it’s straight to the point, transitions well and leaves out the fluff.

Here’s what Robert Kiyosaki had to say about the book:

“Larry Winget is a great guy—he’s tough, talks straight, and has a big heart. Read this book if you need a good kick in the butt!”

So if you’re broke … it’s because you want to be. Read this book if you disagree with me!

5 Steps to Developing Your Mindset for Wealth.

January 10th, 2009

Are you developing your mindset yet or are you still letting weeds grow in your mind?

Right now we are going to talk about mindset. What it is, what you have to do to master it and what will happen when you do.

Whether you are disciplined in exercising your mind or you think you can sit idly by without developing your mind, you will find great value here.

First, what is mindset exactly? I think most of us have a general description, but let’s get specific.

From the website of Merriam-Webster:

mindset
One entry found.

Main Entry: mind–set
Pronunciation: \’mīn(d)-,set\
Function: noun
Date: 1909

1: a mental attitude or inclination
2: a fixed state of mind

Simple enough, right?

So what is your mental attitude or inclination? What is your fixed state of mind?

Are your thoughts berating your mind with negativity and creating a mindset of lack and scarcity?

Are you concentrating on everything you don’t want all the time i.e. I hate my job, I never have enough money, I can’t stand when so and so does that, etc. Are you constantly living in the past?

Or are you developing your mindset for prosperity by thinking about what you want and the actions you are taking to get there? Are you living in the now?

Are you the later? Than congratulations, you represent 3% of the population! You are wealthy and not just in money, in all facets of your life.

If you are the one with a lack-mentality and therefore a weak mindset, have no fear you can change your mindset with simple disciplines and you can start right NOW!

Is there something in your life you do not like whether you want more money, a great relationship, a better business, whatever you want you can have simply by starting to discipline your mind and of course taking action!

So STOP concentrating on being sick and tired of whatever and start thinking about what you want.

I am going to show you how to develop your mindset with easy methods to convert your mindset from lack to wealth right here, right now!

Here’s 5 Steps to Developing Your Mindset for Wealth

Reminder, true wealth is more than being rich it is being happy and abundant in all areas of your life do these simple steps and you will open your mind and life to endless possibilities.

1. CONTROL YOUR THOUGHTS

If you are not thinking about what you want and the steps to get there, than you are sabotaging your life.

Pay attention to your thoughts, if you notice you are thinking something negative, gossiping, etc. Simply stop and access and if it is not what you want cancel the thought and think about what you want instead.

Don’t know what to think? Get an affirmation. And if stinking thinking tries to get in your way say your affirmation over and over till it goes away.

2. FILTER NOISE

What you allow yourself to hear and see are just as important as what you allow yourself to think. Are you watching a bunch of negative news, listening to depressing songs, or constantly thinking about the prospect who didn’t sign up with you?

All of this affects your conscious or subconscious depending on you. i.e. People that get into a show and start yelling and screaming at the characters thus for emotionalizing and internalizing the feelings are doing double the damage by consciously living that emotion as well as subconscious.

Listen and watch things that lift you up rather than bring you down.

3. FIND THE GOOD

This may be “out there” for some, just try it you might like it!

With every situation no matter how dismal it may appear you can and should choose to find the good.

You might have to dig a bit or get creative however there is something good there.

Allow your mind to open up, play detective if you have to… What is the good in this? How can it benefit me? How can it change me for the better?

Whatever you do find the good in the situation and concentrate on that.

4. LIVE TODAY

Let your past go and stop beating yourself up. Remove the what ifs, I should haves and I could haves.

Live today, live in the now.

Learn from your past but do not allow yourself to keep reliving and emotionalizing the scenario that is unless you like recreating it in your life.

5. BE CONSCIOUSLY AWARE

Notice your thoughts, emotions and how your body feels in every moment.

It may sound like “hard work” at first and it will take time to develop the habit. However, I can bet your life staying as is will be much harder.

What are you thinking about before you fall asleep, when you wake up, when you are eating, when you are watching your favorite show, and so on.

Before you know it you will be consciously aware and eliminating the negativity in your life with ease.

Can Autosuggestion Really Help With Your Subconscious Mind?

October 14th, 2008

If you are not familiar with the term autosuggestion, it is something you truly will want to study up and involve in your life. It may be a little wild for you initially, but the rewards are indeed awesome over time.

Essentially, it is a mental training process (don’t get scared) that allows you to train the subconscious mind to accept positive beliefs. It can have an extremely powerful affect on your personal life and business life if done properly.

How Exactly Does This Whole Process Work?

Autosuggestion is based entirely off of the concept of repeated suggestions. All this is really is the process of setting goals, habits and personal belief systems to work off of.

This method is approached through communication between the conscious mind and the subconscious mind. As the subconscious mind receives a series of repetitive statements from the conscious mind that act as affirmations, the subconscious mind acts on these suggestions without questioning them whatsoever. Imagine the possibilities!

As soon as these suggestions are generated from the self, it is referred to as autosuggestion. There are several examples of this that you probably do without even realizing it with business work and your personal life.

Things like repeating affirmations out loud, putting down affirmations on paper and listening to a self-recorded tape of autosuggestions are all prime examples. They give us the motivation and confidence needed to get through life happy and successful.

Here are a few examples you may want to repeat aloud every morning and every night to start getting your mindset right:

  • I am the leader people are seeking
  • I exercise daily because wealth without health is useless
  • I will control my temper today
  • I will not spend a lot of major time with minor people

Basically, just state whatever it is you need to improve in your life.

Battling Negativity

Without applying this process to your life, you will likely end up being influenced by negative thoughts and ideas. The Debbie Downers and Negative Nancy’s of the world are never far away.

For instance, on a daily basis you probably hear a plethora of negative comments coming from co-workers, friends and family. You know the type. Always addicted to the drama. Always complaining about something. Everything from the economy struggling to how difficult it is to make it in life can be brought up over and over again…

Unfortunately, this shapes your mind over time if you allow it. It can influence you in a negative way and, quite bluntly, cripple you mentally by filling your own life with negativity. If you do not practice this mental training process, you can fall victim to these negative connotations.

In order to live a happy and fulfilling life, it is vital you practice this autosuggestion on a daily basis. It will allow you to avert any negative connotations you may face on a daily basis and allow you to live your life free of debt, negativity and fear. Try it!

I Know Your Favorite Word!

September 30th, 2008

As you go through life, you encounter more and more people. And the one thing you could do to make each one of them feel good is to remember their names.

A person’s name is the best sound in the world to him. Simply remembering people’s names is a subtle yet effective compliment. Misspell it, or forget it altogether, and you have seriously damaged his opinion of you.

How Andrew Carnegie Used People’s Names To Succeed

One of the richest men in American history, Andrew Carnegie, knew the importance of using people’s names. He became so successful because he remembered and used the names of his workers and clients, as well as his prospects.

His workers appreciated him for that, and worked harder for him just because he was so personable to and interested in each one of them.

He knew and often used his competitors’ and prospective clients’ names in his business ventures, even sometimes going so far as to name his projects after them. As a result, they obligated themselves to him, and he profited most handsomely!

Putting A Price Tag On Corporate Names

Many buildings on college campuses are named after people who are special to the university. I’ve even heard of some wealthy individuals who donate large sums of money to a college just so he could have the new building named after himself. Also, many corporations now are buying public event arenas, and changing their names to The [company name] Center, or [company name] Park.

There is magic in the use of people’s names. And people always make extra special efforts when you remember and use their names!
