I’ve always found the term “scam” funny and amazingly over used in Network and Internet Marketing. According to Merriam-Webster, a scam is a fraudulent or deceptive act or operation. I’ve found a lot of scams on the Internet in my time including ponzi operations such as “private offshore investing” and outfits such as ASD which got shut down.
With that said, I was definitely not offended by the questions and I feel people should ask this question and investigate it about every opportunity they look at.
In terms of the CarbonCopyPro Scam and Wealth Masters International scam questions, a doctor with extensive experience conducting thorough investigations to find out if CarbonCopyPro was legit and if Wealth Masters International was legit wrote up the following summary which he calls:
Why CarbonCopyPRO Is Not A Scam
- Both CarbonCopyPRO and the company we represent (Wealth Masters International) have clean records according to the Better Business Bureau (BBB). The companies have never had a substantiated complaint according to the BBB.
- No actions by a State Attorney General have ever been taken against either company, nor are there any pending investigations.
- Both companies are based in the United States of America. They’re not some fly-by-night, “private investing” off-shore sham. CarbonCopyPro has an office in New York and Wealth Masters International has an office in Texas.
- Neither company has ever been investigated or sanctioned by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). And the FTC is extremely active in this industry.
- Wealth Masters International started in January 2005. It has passed the important 3-year mark that so many companies never reach.
- The compensation model is very similar to those used in the insurance, real estate, and mortgage industries. Leaders who recruit and train new professionals receive a commission when members of their team make a sale. But the largest commission goes to the person who makes the sale. You are rewarded for your hard work.
- Industry leaders such as Mike Dillard of Magnetic Sponsoring fame and my sponsor and Jeffrey Combs of Golden Mastermind Seminars are associated with the company.
- Wealth Masters International is a member in good standing of the Direct Sales Association, the leading trade organization for direct sales companies.

You may note that I’m very analytical myself and somewhat of a skeptic due to my engineering background. I always question everything. I like to know EVERYTHING. But understand this: I have represented this company since September 2008 and I have never seen any unethical or questionable business practices.
And yes I do look for them, as I have when representing or working for any company or client.
